Yacaré Chucrut (Alligator Sauerkraut)
A group of investigation and performance-activation artists, its members are Sonia Neuburger, Andrea Fasani, Claudia Toro, Sandra Pauli y Eduardo Avendaño.
The company was formally created in 2019. The five artists work together in several projects more than 10 years ago. Integrating different disciplines, resumes and geographic sites, each artist has its own sensibility; the union of outlooks heightens the results. Ceramics, drawings, photographs, video-recordings, performances, sound production, physical and objects theater interweave, whilst the exchange of procedures meets specific details, as carefully studied repetitive sequences build up memories, pain, violence and deracination.
